For me as a graphic/web designer, getting over my fear of having my thoughts heard rather than seen was life-changing.
Let me tell you why I started writing and I hope this can empower you too. I started writing to share my knowledge with the world. I also wanted to find my voice and get over a childhood fear of writing. So I just started, kept improving, and enjoyed the process.
Even if you don’t do the writing yourself.
According to HubSpot, businesses that blog regularly receive 55% more visitors and 67% more inbound links than businesses that don’t have a blog at all.
Does that mean your company should write blogs?
Maybe.
It matters how you use your blogs. Are you just blogging or is it a part of your overall marketing strategies? A simple blog, like a recipe blog, is out there with the intent of informing only. Content marketing uses a blog as part of larger marketing strategies. Blogging requires a lot of strategic planning including:

- Subject
- Keywords
- Release timing
- Social media integration
