Knowing your ideal client makes sales so much easier and has a better Return on Investment (ROI) Why?
If you’re always out there trying to get that new lead by just guessing who is interested, it is expensive and a waste of time. Who today has money and time to waste?
I recommend to all my clients to pull back on any blanket marketing messages and efforts. Meaning, the message is generic and is promoted to everyone because they don’t want to miss anyone. This may have worked in the past, but it doesn’t work now unless you have tens of thousands to spend.
Do you need new leads because you are currently shut down?
Be honest about that. Tell your audience what’s going on. You can be very vulnerable and more open with people than you’re used to. But right now, you are not alone in not knowing what to do, and people want to help. They can’t help you if they don’t know. Right now, it is a good time to invest in the right kind of marketing.
