Last week in Santa Fe, I had the honor of coaching 11 incredible women at the QUEST event.
Eleven stories. Eleven voices. Eleven moments where I cried because they let their truth be seen, heard, and felt.
I’m a happy cryer, and the moment I shared the stage, I cried. An audience member later said, “You had a proud mom look on your face,” and she was right; I was very proud. It takes courage and strength to step up onto a stage and talk about something you are passionate about.
And alongside them, I stood on stage and told a new story of my own.
A story about reclaiming my voice.
About stepping into my power. Not all at once, but in small, brave decisions. Stacked over time.
About becoming the woman who doesn’t just help others tell their stories… but lives fully inside her own.
There was a time I would have never believed this version of me existed. The one who can hold a room. The one who people quite literally lean into… hanging on my every word.
And yet… here we are.
Because storytelling isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being present.
It’s about joining the heart of the story with the why of the story. And then actually embodying it when you speak. Not worrying if it lands. Not needing it to land. But, caring deeply about the message you’re giving.
That’s the shift.
A story shared with attachment feels heavy. A story shared with intent? That’s where the magic lives.
(And yes… they do call me the magic lady who weaves stories. I didn’t see that coming either.)
And now I want to invite you into that magic.
Why I Do This
It’s my mission, my passion, my calling. Whatever you want to call it, I’m all in.
To support people in sharing their stories.
To help them use their voices—not just to speak, but to inspire, to grow, and to feel more deeply connected to the people around them.
Because when we learn how to tell our stories, something shifts.
We stop holding everything inside. We stop wondering if we matter.
We start showing up more fully, more honestly, more powerfully.
And the ripple effect of that? It changes conversations, relationships… even the way we see ourselves.
That’s the magic.
And I do that magic with my partner, Christina Vidovich. Together, we are lifting voices up and giving women places to explore what their visibility journey can be so that they can be heard, seen and accepted.
Story Sparks
This June, at our Women Getting Visible Conference in Minneapolis, we’re introducing “Story Sparks”. Not only will you learn how others got visible, our participants will discover what visibility means to them and what actions they want to take…and then we have “Story Sparks”.
Story Sparks is a space for participant to share their story.
Not the polished version.
Not the “when everything worked out” version.
But the real one, the one that has something to give.
If you or someone you know may want to be a part of Story Sparks and our Conference. Check out our event page https://luma.com/5kaebu49
The Spark (Moment) Between
Because storytelling isn’t just about expression, it’s about connection.
It’s a living moment between you and someone else.
You offer something real, something honest, and in return, they feel it, connect to it, maybe even see themselves inside of it.
Giving and receiving are both necessary for a message to be heard… and more importantly, to be felt.
And when it’s done right… people can’t help but lean in.
That’s your voice’s power.
That’s connection.
And for me…I feel alive.
Stories are all around us…
Are you listening?
I am.
